Though the crane fly, AKA “mosquito hawk,” doesn’t actually eat mosquitos, their larvae, often called “leatherjackets,” are ravenous for your grass! This time of the year, the larvae seek out a safe home with good food, and can destroy your lawn as they chow down on its roots.
Give us a call, particularly if your lawn has any wetter spots, and we can come treat your yard area for the pest and potentially prevent some major damage.
